When: April 5, 6, 26, 27, 2025 (4 Days) Location: TBD Time: 8:30am -4:30pm COURSE OVERVIEW: The Lean Yellowbelt Certification is designed to equip participants with the fundamental knowledge and skills to apply Lean principles and tools within their work environment. This program focuses on process improvement, efficiency, and the elimination of waste to drive continuous improvements. Throughout this 32-hour, hands-on course, participants will learn how to contribute to Lean projects, support Lean initiatives, and drive incremental change within their teams and organizations. The course includes practical exercises, case studies, and a series of interactive sessions to develop proficiency in using Lean Tools. KEY LEARNING AREAS: • Value Stream Mapping: Map out processes and identify areas for improvement • 5S (Workplace Organization): Organize and standardize workspaces to improve efficiency • Standardized Work: Develop consistent processes to eliminate variation. • Problem Solving: Solve problems with structured, step-by-step methods • Root Cause Analysis: Utilize tools such as the 5 Whys to solve problems. • Visual Control Board: Create visual board to track progress and highlight issues for team collaboration. PRE-REQUISITE: • Lean Whitebelt Certified or equivalent Lean Experience CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 1. Completion of 32 Hours of Training: Engage in interactive, practical training sessions focused on applications of Lean tools. 2. Proficiency in Lean Tools: Demonstrate the ability to apply Lean principles to improve processes and eliminate waste. 3. Final Project: Showcase your understanding of Lean through a case study that applies the methodologies learned.
